Arrive on time, leave your mobile in the changing room, tell your therapist about any allergies or health problems and above all, relax. Always use the robe and slippers provided and wear underwear. Don't drink too much alcohol the night before and ensure that you drink plenty of water, and be sure to tip your therapist 10 per cent.

The glorious month of May...
We see lots of reasons to celebrate here at Debrett's – weeks of beautiful weather, with spring blossom, wild flowers and budding trees, have put everyone in a good mood. And the Royal Wedding, after weeks of anticipation and speculation, passed off without a hitch – a glorious day of tradition, pageantry and spectacle.
We're also turning our attention to our 2012 edition of People of Today. In this Olympics year we will be celebrating all types of British achievement and our editorial team is busy considering new candidates for inclusion.

A Modern Royal Marriage |

Here at Debett's the Royal Wedding has been keeping us busy. We have added a substantial new section to our website, which covers the Wedding in detail, with biographies of Kate and William, a history of Westminster Abbey, a guide to ceremonial and pageantry and the Order of Service.
Our latest addition is a guide to the actual wedding day. If you want to find out about the details, from the intricacies of the embroidery on Kate's wedding dress to the floral icing decoration on the cake, you'll find all the information on our website.
We're also busy preparing a new book, A Modern Royal Marriage, which will be published in October. This beautiful book will put the Royal Wedding into a unique historical and social perspective.
As well as reviewing, in detail, outstanding Royal Weddings from Queen Victoria to the present day, there is a section devoted entirely to the wedding ceremony, with details of the dress, bridesmaids, flowers, music, pageantry and ceremonial.
The book concludes with a considered insight into the wider impact of the royal wedding, both on the general public's perception of the Royal Family, and on wedding fashions and etiquette in general.
